Thanks guys.
We will get to fish with Chris Beeksma (Get Bit Guide Service http://www.getbitguideservice.com/ ) and also may get to wet a line there with Craig Putchat of Outdoor Allure (http://www.outdoorallure.com/ )... so we should have a GREAT time!
We stand to get into some hot action as the morning bite is on.
Can not wait!!!

Boy, talk about getting up at 0 Dark-thirty.

I used to get up at 2:30am to go steelheading for the day up on the Brule, fish all day, and drive home that evening. But any more I go up the night before and get a hotel room, I find as I get older I don't have those early mornings in me much anymore. Sounds like a fun trip though, hope you have a great time.

Thanks fellow Catch-ers for the thoughts and ideas... yep.... I'll take two cameras!
I picked up a MarCum rod-tote and a couple of new Flueger reels for my new Greg Austin rods.
I geve two of the 4 rods to Smitty for his 60th B-day (and he got my old Stone Legacy Revolution tote).
My new tote looks like this...

:D
Nice!
I like the extra room for my rod handles.... and that it has plenty of storage.

Gotta get pack'n

Looking forward to seeing you again. As far as beetles/jigs/etc. if you need it on the big lake, we have them in the shop. Oh, and Lots of fresh hering. I will make sure to set aside a pile for you though, as the early am rush can get pretty grabby around here.

If you havent checked the weather, your in for a treat. It should be about the most fishable we have seen all ice. Mid to hi 20's all weekend.

Have a safe trip, and we will see you Sat.
when its calm, you can hear the ice coming...you can smell it...
