Catch-N.com NEARLY closes August 1/2008... it is a long story.
All good things must end... well I suppose that is true.

Smitty and I have ended our partnership in our tackle company and all other endeavors. And, now it is time to part here also. We remain good friends but neither of us wish to maintain or be responsible for this site.

I wish to thank all who have made Catch-N.com "home" for so many others... it has been a GREAT honor to know many of you and to have worked closely with you in building this site.

I'm at a loss for words.

Let me say this.....it was a BIG PLEASURE getting to know alot of great people here at Catch-n.com and beyond.I've met some of the kindest sportsman and women over the years because of this site.Life will not be the the same
without a home website like this.Hopefully alot of us will keep in touch even though the site closes down.Thanks for all the great experiences,get-to-gethers,tournaments,radio shows,and way too much to list here.

Take care everyone and we'll see you out on the lake or in the woods!

CM, there is still a chance that the site may be sold before it closes.... if so, it will remain under new management. And if so Smitty and I will be more than happy to stick round and help out the new owner(s).

Aww man that stinks but I'd like to take the time to thank Hoggie and Smitty for all the great years they have been on the web and the many gathering they have brought us all togher eather at best point resort or at mil lacs there was many great and bad times oh wait there were no bad times

Although I started somewhere else Catch-n became my home.
Hoggie is and will always be a man I call friend. I can not begin to say what he has done for me.
Not only a friend ,but a respected mentor.You could not ask for a better teacher when it comes to the fishing tackle industry. I could never begin to count the times I came to him with an issue and although I did not always follow his advice at 1st ,I found he was always right and I would then follow as he directed.

Hoggie .....thanks for the leadership and guidance...I bow to you SIR!

My hope is that Catch-n survives.......if it does not there will be a place for those of you who would like to
be in a place that was modeled after Catch-n.

Well Catch'ers it's time for Hoggie and I to bid a fairwell to Catch-N. It has been an adventure with alot of good times and good friends made here. We started Catch-N with an idea to make it a friendly place to be and we have acomplished what our goal was. We both need to take care of life matters and Catch-N takes alot of work which takes valuable time away from our families. I always said "When your hobbie becomes work, it's time to change your hobbie." Well we both missed alot of fishing and alot of family time because of Catch-N and Catch-N was really comsuming way to much of Hoggies time for it to be fun. Hoggie was spending 4 or 5 hours on the site each day. It went from a labor of love, to just plain labor for him. I don't have the computer knowledge to help Hoggie, I was there to help and support Hoggie with Catch-N in any way I could. We spent many hour going over what would make Catch-N the best. Hoggie and I are still the best of friends and blood brothers at heart. We will put Catch-N down just like our best dog, with Honor and Dignity and knowing we did the best we could to make Catch-N the Friendly Fishing site. I will still be around having fun on other fishing sites, but mostly I'll be fishing with my family.

Catch-N will go off line August 1st 2008 unless somebody wants to take it over.

We need all the soldiers we can muster to keep the sport alive.

I was glad to be a small part in helping with design and coding a few times over the years, and enjoyed my online interview on Hoggie's show.
That was really a lot of fun.
