Fellow Catch-ers,
We arrived at Outdoor Allure about 11:am... and right away went to put our geat into the "bunk-house".
Wow what a GREAT place to hold a get-together! We will have to use this place come next October for the fall SM Bass trip in 2008.
This place will sleep about 12 people.. which is just perfect... and look that this place... it is well furnished and very clean.... GREAT!

Thereare some good looking mounts and the kitchen is loaded... coffee maker, stove & fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, etc... has a tub and shower.

A short walk and you are in the Outdoor Allure store... which is packedto the ceiling with all the outdoor items you may be fooking for. It is one of the BEST stocked shops I have seen.
Look at this...

nice shop, eh!

Joe Harner who works at Outdoor Allure got us hooked-up with the right jigs, rods/line, and told us how to jig to intice the trout.
The owner Craig Putchat took the time off on to accompany Smitty and I out to his fishing spot... where he taught us many on his tips on fishing Lakers.

Smitty and I made our holes far enough from Craig so that our lures could "circle" without any tangles... Smitty chose to use his snomobile as a seat. This keeps your feet up and off the ice.

The ice got covered in inches of water... I removed the slush so we could see the fish coming up. The ice was just like looking thru glass!

We had a blast catch'n these Lakers... and plan to return for the Coho run come March.
What a GREAT trip.
I learned a ton... and had ton of FUN!
