Cold Snap Covers

Postby Panfish Hunter on Wed Jan 23, 2008 12:12 pm

http://www.coldsnapcover.com/

Cold Snap Outdoors, LLC announces affiliation with Feldmann Engineering and Manufacturing, marketer of Jiffy Products.

Jiffy will market the Cold Snap Cover under the name "Easy Snap." Easy Snap will be easily recognizable by it's distinctive Jiffy yellow color. "Jiffy has taken a significant step in differentiating itself from it's competitors by adding the Patented Cold Snap Auger Cover to their line of products." said Vice President Daniel Houg. Jiffy is the first auger company to adopt the Cold Snap Cover in 2005, and the first to introduce them as OEM equipment on their STX Pro Series augers in 2006.

These are great little covers. Finally a Cold Snap cover for your Ardisam auger!

No more dealing with the stock cover. Works with Ardisam augers with the steel ring around the bottom of the auger only. 8, 9, and 10 inch covers are available.

I have a Cold Snap cover on my Jiffy STX Pro. Like Hoggie say's, No more messing around with th bussiness end of my auger. I don't know how many times I have nicked myself on those blades. It took a bit to get used to the Cold Snap cover, but after I got the hang of how it goes on and comes off with ease. No more broken rubber straps.

I got one last year when I ordered my new Jiffy STX pro, and I love it. Leave it lay on the ground while you're drilling, and when you're done, just set the bottom of the auger in the cover, and it snaps itself right on.

NO MORE RUBBER STRAPS!!!

I tell you what.I'm gonna be showing it off for some time to come.
That's such a great product.
Having to take off your gloves and man handle the old lids with those straps ,being so carefull not to break them when it's really cold was a bummer.
Now it's a hands free operation and no more band breakage.
I do not get pumped about new stuff very much ,but this idea is awesome.

they fit 8" 9" 10" Jiffys with the ice ring and we are also getting them to work on 8" 9" 10" Ardisam Augers too.

I believe Jiffy sells them for 34.99 and on Clod Snap.com 29.99
